Hi! I'm Amanda Alexander PCC, Director of Coaching Mums. Welcome to the blog!
Since founding Coaching Mums in 2003, I've helped thousands of working mums across the World to create a sense of balance, fulfillment and success on their own terms.
Here on the blog, you'll find tonnes of free online coaching tools and tips to help you as a working mum to juggle all the roles you play... without losing the plot!
Last night we went to Max's Christmas school performance, “Oliver”. It's unheard of for me NOT to well up every time M’s Headmaster makes a post-performance speech. I have a surprise Christmas gift for you to thank you for being a loyal visitor to my blog. With our inboxes being bombarded with emails, I really appreciate your presence on my mailing list and especially your feedback, kind words and support for Coaching Mums. My free gift contains more work life balance tips in the form of a 25 minute podcast interview that I recorded this week with Suzy Greaves of The Big Leap. Suzy is a friend, coach colleague and has been my own coach and mentor for many things, from writing a book, finding peace and making leaps! Read More

You’ve heard it before, I’m sure. Perhaps in the check-out line at the grocery store, or at the playground on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe you’ve even come across it in the office! Raise a hand if you’ve ever gotten a reaction like that when you’ve told people you’re a working mum. Read More
It’s almost that time of year again, and whether you have older children or little ones just starting out, September can be an exciting and nerve-wracking time for both parents and kids! Time to practice more work life balance. Despite the big build-up to the September send-off, the school year is a long ten months that requires continued parental management and involvement. As a working mum, you might find yourself overwhelmed with the responsibility of overseeing your own career and obligations as well as those of your kids. When you do feel a bit loony and in need of a good vent, make sure you’ve got an Online Coaching website bookmarked for some aid and support! In the meantime, with some careful preparation, you and your kids can look forward to a happy school experience year-round! Follow the helpful pointers below to make your year a success. Read More
