Hi! I'm Amanda Alexander PCC, Director of Coaching Mums. Welcome to the blog!
Since founding Coaching Mums in 2003, I've helped thousands of working mums across the World to create a sense of balance, fulfillment and success on their own terms.
Here on the blog, you'll find tonnes of free online coaching tools and tips to help you as a working mum to juggle all the roles you play... without losing the plot!
Philip M Harter, a doctor at Stanford University of Medicine, is generally credited with compiling a snapshot of how the Earth’s population would look if it was shrunk to a village of just 100 people, with all the human ratios still remaining. I am uncertain whether Harter made these calculations himself or whether he came across the figures (it depends where you look!) Read More
During National Work-Life Week, which runs from 27th September, I’ll be running a complimentary virtual seminar to teach working parents how to apply seven simple habits to improve their resilience, keep perspective when all around is a whirlwind and find time for a bit of fun ... even when “life ain’t perfect”. Or should this post be entitled, "When is a self-limiting belief not actually self-limiting"? I was inspired to write this post by one of my FaB clients who I coached earlier this week on a self-limiting belief around money. This couldn't have come at a more appropriate time. Only about ten minutes earlier I received an email offering an interesting job opportunity. So, there I was, sitting in Costa Coffee in Frodsham with my Flat
White, pondering on projects various, when two women approached me – S

Hi Amanda, I really enjoyed this EZine and found it very motivational, when I have something to do that I dont want to do - not knowing where to start is one of my problems, and taking that first step is often the hardest part, but once Ive done that then the rest is not so difficult.
Amanda, how timely. We're at a crossroads in our family's life. What we really want to do is both be self-employed, sell everything, buy an RV and tour the U.S. with our wee kids while working "from home/rv." I'm going to sit down with my hubby and start working on identifying your #1, 2 and 3, then take the first step.
Thank you!!
